“What if the task is simply to fall in love with your own humanity, again and again?” — adrienne maree brown

I’m a queer therapist intern, ceramic artist, and writer who believes in the innate wisdom of the body, the healing power of creativity, and the importance of honoring every part of ourselves — even the ones that have been pushed aside or forgotten. My approach blends therapeutic arts, parts work, and inner child work, all grounded in a belief in the animacy of the natural world and the deep healing that happens through relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with the land.

I’m especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ folks who are navigating grief, identity shifts, or the long, layered journey of healing from religious trauma. I was raised in an Evangelical Christian community and left in my mid-twenties, and that experience continues to inform how I hold space for people questioning inherited belief systems and reclaiming their own inner voice. I’m committed to understanding how systems of power and privilege show up in our lives and in the therapy room, and to holding space that is curious, trauma-informed, and identity-affirming.

Before becoming a therapist, I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Oregon and spent years as a teaching artist. I continue to work with clay as a ceramicist, and that practice shapes my belief that healing is not linear — it’s an art form of its own, requiring presence, compassion, and the willingness to return again and again.

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University and offer both in-person and virtual therapy under clinical supervision.
